Mrs. Amy Hartman

I am happy to be returning to the Silverdale and Sand Ridge families this year. I have worked in Onslow County for the last 20 years as a Title I Reading Specialist, Kindergarten Teacher and Gifted Specialist. I have worked with k-5 potentially gifted and identified gifted students. My service at previous elementary schools include: Carolina Forest, Hunters Creek, Jacksonville Commons, Morton, Stateside, Swansboro, Sand Ridge and Queens Creek Elementary Schools.

I grew up in Western New York where I started my teaching career as a classroom teacher in kindergarten and grades 1-3. I attended Buffalo State College (BS in Elementary Education K-5), Canisius college (MS in Reading Education), and Concordia University (MS in Curriculum and Instruction).
